FastNeuron discloses its secret
BackupChain Backup Software With Granular Backup and Restore for Hyper-V, Version 2.4 Released
BALTIMORE, MD--(Marketwire - Jul 16, 2012) - FastNeuron Inc., a leading U.S. provider of disaster recovery and data protection solutions for physical, virtual, and cloud environments, announced today its new release of BackupChain® Backup Software.
Initially launched in 2009, BackupChain Backup Software rapidly expanded internationally as the product of choice for IT administrators and professionals.
The new version and edition of the product has been released today -- Server Enterprise Edition -- includes an innovative twist to virtualization backup: Granular Backup and Granular Restore. The two main new features work in Hyper-V, VMware, and VirtualBox. For most users these features result in significant backup and recovery time reductions.
Using Granular Backup, BackupChain users may now run a host-based backup of objects residing inside virtual machines without installing additional software or virtual machine agents. Granular Backup cuts processing time because users may choose to back up only certain files, rather than the entire virtual machine.
Granular Restore, on the other hand, allows users to selectively restore individual objects from virtual machine backups, without the need to restore entire virtual disks, which may take hours for very large machines.
In addition to the new Server Enterprise Edition, all other editions were also updated and include new features, such as configurable file retention, delayed deletion periods, and various performance-related options.
FastNeuron is adept in technical support, so don't hesitate to ask us.
About FastNeuron Inc. FastNeuron provides secure and innovative enterprise grade backup solutions aimed at small and medium-sized organizations under the brand BackupChain®. FastNeuron is experienced in this area and poised to tell you more about it.
